Thank you for checking out Raydiant Wellness LLC. I couldn’t be more excited about owning and operating a business that aligns with my passion.
Before Lifestyle Medicine came onto my radar, I practiced Pulmonary and Critical Care. I loved it, but my path took a detour in 2015 after moving to Rochester, MN, from Cincinnati, Ohio. In Cincinnati, my interest in holistic healthcare was inspired by some work out partners who chose to manage their health concerns with nutrition, essential oils, and stress management. This was a new concept for me, as allopathic medical training is largely centered around medications and procedures. When some free time opened up after my move, I delved into learning about nutrition. The study of nutrition gave way to the study of how the multiple facets of lifestyle, such as sleep, stress, habits and behavior, addiction, beliefs, and relationships influence our health, both physically and mentally/emotionally. After taking a Health & Wellness Coaching course, which focused on behavior change, I knew I had found the missing link to tie the knowledge of how lifestyle affects our health, to helping others make health-promoting sustainable changes in their lifestyle patterns. I became certified in Lifestyle Medicine in 2019 through the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, and am thrilled to see my vision of my optimal practice become a reality.
When I am not working, I am cooking, running or doing some other form of physical activity, cuddling with my dogs (and my husband if he is available), or reading.
